How this review was built Evidence, sources, refresh cadence
- Evidence: No pet-mention guest reviews logged yet. The paw rating will be computed once enough reviews accumulate; until then, treat the page as informational only.
- Not a personal visit. We don't stay at every hotel we cover - we summarise patterns from real guest reviews, paraphrased and never quoted verbatim. Full standard on our editorial policy page.
- Wider context: The property has 6 guest reviews overall across booking platforms, averaging 9.2/10 - the paw rating reflects only the pet-mentioning subset.
- Last refreshed: August 2026. Policies and pricing drift; we re-check on a rolling basis. Confirm specifics with the property at the moment you book.
- How the paw rating works: Full detail on the methodology page, including the three verification gates and known limitations.

Pet-friendly summary
Sea Shore is a whole-house holiday cottage on the shore of Mount's Bay just west of Marazion, looking out across the water to St Michael's Mount. The setting is the draw: the cottages sit behind an open stretch of grass and shoreline with nothing built up in front of them, parking is right there, and a walk starts the moment you close the door. For a dog that is happy on a lead by the sea, few Cornish addresses make the daily routine simpler.
The property welcomes one well-behaved dog. Beyond that the owners publish no detailed terms, so it is worth confirming any charge, and the arrangements for a second pet, directly before you book.
The open frontage is the thing to understand before you commit. There is no fencing between the cottages or around the land in front, and guests have raised that as something they would change. It is exactly what gives the property its views and its sense of space, but it means the outside area is not secure: a dog inclined to wander needs a lead or close supervision rather than being let out on its own.
Practically, guests rate the cottage as spacious, clean and comfortable with genuinely good views, and there is somewhere to eat and drink about fifty yards along. The shower tray needs some attention and the wooden picnic bench is wobbly. There is no wifi, which several visitors treated as part of the appeal, and one stay found the cottage not quite warm enough. Marazion and St Michael's Mount are a fifteen to twenty minute walk, Penzance is a longer one, and there are bus stops to both nearby.
At 4.4 out of 5, Sea Shore suits an owner with a steady dog who wants sea views, easy parking and flat, open walking on the doorstep, and who does not need an enclosed garden to let a dog out into.
