About Four Legged Guests
Four Legged Guests started the way most good ideas do — out of frustration. We're a couple from the Midlands who adopted a nervous rescue lurcher and quickly discovered that "dog-friendly" often means "we'll tolerate your dog if it stays in one room and doesn't touch anything." After one too many disappointing stays, we decided to start reviewing places ourselves — honestly, thoroughly, and always with muddy paws in tow.
Three years on, we've visited over 500 accommodations across 47 counties, from Highland bothies to Cornish beach cottages. Every review on this site comes from a real stay with our own dogs. We note the things that actually matter: Is there a secure garden? Are dogs allowed in the dining room? Is the nearest off-lead walk five minutes or fifty? If a place isn't genuinely welcoming, we say so. Our goal is simple — to help you find places where your dog is a guest, not an inconvenience.

What Our Readers Say
"I've used Four Legged Guests for every holiday since I found them two years ago. They're the only review site I trust completely — if they say a place is dog-friendly, it genuinely is." — Rachel W., Border Collie Owner
